Consortium Ii™ Is Now Nec Certified
Richardson TX October 31, 2007 – Forum Communications International, a leader in audio conferencing bridge manufacturing, announces it has achieved UNIVERGE status with NEC, for its Consortium II conferencing product. This certification gives end users the comfort to know that the Forum Products have been tested and approved and will work with the NEC products. The Consortium II is certified on the following NEC platforms: UNIVERGE NEAX 2000 IPS, 2400 IPX, and SV-7000.
The Consortium II is a powerful audio conferencing server that can support multiple conference types including Meet Me, Recurring calls or Quick Conferences. The Consortium II includes flexibility and control to administer the conferences with a user friendly interface, integrated Outlook streamlines scheduling for all participants. The Consortium II offers superb conference quality, as if the participants are in the same room meeting face-to-face and showcases a mixture of high tech, advanced features with leading edge hardware and software. The user has easy one touch access to recording conferences; the recorded conferences can either be used for PodCast’s or downloaded as MP3’s. The advanced feature set and the ease of use enables system administrators and end users alike to easily use the Consortium II.
UNIVERGE certification is a process within NEC’s UNIVERGE Solutions Partner Program (USPP) in which NEC USPP partners can have the PBX interface of their product tested in NEC’s Partner TEST Lab, in order to verify compatibility with specific NEC systems. The Certification process is offered only to those USPP partners in compliance with the parameters of the UNIVERGE Solutions Partner program. UNIVERGE certification was done at NEC in Irving TX.
